I wanted to take the time to let you know that The Hug Strap will be closing its virtual doors on Dec. 31, 2023. I am so grateful to each and every one of you that have supported my tiny little handmade business over the years, and so happy to have met so many wonderful people in our little ukulele community.
While the company is still financially healthy, I have always just been an artist and a musician who had an idea I thought would help other people. I am glad my little strap was able to do do that. However, this business was largely born from a need for me to remain home while my daughter was small, and now that she’s older, I am thrilled to be able to turn my attention back to my loves in life - teaching, music, and art.
I will still be churning out straps through the holiday season, so please be sure to stock up before the end of the year. If you need straps for your school or shop, please contact me at thehugstrap@gmail.com to set up an order.
My social media accounts on Instagram and YouTube will remain active and I will continue to release ukulele tutorials as time allows. If you want to hire me as a performer and/or a teacher for your ukulele festival, I will still be doing that and plan to be an active member in the community.
